Stephen Doyle Carter, 72, of Niangua, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sandy Oiler.
Stephen served his country with the United States Navy from 1968 to 1974. He enjoyed team roping and riding horses.
He is survived by two sons, Doyle Thomas Carter and Stephen Terry Carter; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a brother, John D. Carter; a brother-in-law, Bob Oiler; as well as a host of family and friends.
Graveside funeral services for Stephen Doyle Carter will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at Star Cemetery in Seymour, under the direction of Day Funeral Home of Marshfield.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Day Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
