Valentine’s Day is a time for love, hearts, and, of course, flowers.
For local florists, it’s a busy time of the year as they prepare floral arrangements and make deliveries to area homes, offices and schools.
“Valentine’s Day is always a big day for us,” Pam Daniels of Pam’s Flowers said. “Actually it’s going all week.”
The employees at Pam’s Flowers, which is located at 519 N. Jefferson Ave., have been preparing to deal with a winter weather week as they make deliveries.
“We don’t know what the rest of the week’s going to be but we’re all geared up,” she said. “We’ve got all the product we need, all kinds of extras to add on to flowers and we’re prepared for the weather, for walk-ins or call-ins, just give us a call.”
