Small businesses ready for Christmas shopping season

Lebanon’s small businesses are ready for the Christmas shopping season to begin. Following Thursday’s Thanksgiving holiday, Small Business Saturday will be observed Nov. 25. Small Business Saturday is described as a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for their communities. “This year, we know that small businesses need our support now more than ever as they navigate, retool and pivot from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. SBA and organizations across the country to support their local small businesses,” according to a press release from the Small Business Administration. Lebanon City Administrator Mike Schumacher said Saturday’s event puts the spotlight on how small businesses promote the community. For more on this story, see the LCR.
