Shirley Lee Henderson, 83, of Lebanon, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, in Springfield.

She was born Oct. 8, 1936, in Springfield, Mo. to Orval and Estella Mae Gilmore Ikerd.

On Dec. 20, 1958, she married Howard Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Howard Henderson on Aug. 11, 2016; one grandson, Cameron Kyle; two sisters-in-law, LaWanda and Vickie Ikerd.

Shirley was a nursing home administrator from 1979 until 1998. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, always putting their needs first.

She was saved as a young girl at High Street Baptist Church in Springfield. Most recently she had been attending Family Church in Lebanon.

Survivors include her children, Sheila Jones and her husband Bryan of Lebanon; Dwayne Henderson and his wife Cindy Sue of Conway;, Shelly Boyett and her husband Chris of Cave Springs, Ark., Sherri Kyle and her husband Derek of Lebanon, and Heath Henderson of Lebanon; siblings, Beverly Clark and her husband David of Conway, Sonny Ikerd and his wife Mary of Marshfield; Ronnie Ikerd of Lebanon,;and John Ikerd and his significant other, Barb Pirtle of Conway; grandchildren, Sheena Snider and her husband Justin, Brandon Jones and his wife Ashley, Priscilla Henderson, Tabitha Henderson, Josh Henderson, Kellen Boyett and his wife Bailey, Jared Boyett and his wife Samantha, Kassie Boyett and Cory Kyle and his wife Brandee; great-grandchildren, Brookelyn, Emma Grace, Callen, Mayleigh, Benton and Kaiden and one more baby Kyle on-the-way; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Shirley Lee Henderson will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Kevin Ranfield officiating. Burial will be in Good Spring Cemetery near Niangua, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until service time, also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
