Shirley Ann Dyal, 78, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, in Buffalo.

She was born Dec. 23, 1942, in Lynn, Ark. to Arden and Edith Smithee Porter.

On July 16, 1950, she married Gene Dyal.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Gene on Jan. 5, 2017; one granddaughter, Haley Rose Dyal, and two brothers-in-law, Frank McGough and Earnie Dobbs.

Shirley attended school at Harlem High School in Illinois. She was the secretary for Dyal’s Garage for many years. She was also a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed refinishing furniture and guns, painting home decor, creating web pages, and was a talented seamstress among other things.

She was a member of Community Baptist Church for several years.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Dyal and his wife Mary of Midwest City, Okla. and Scott Dyal and his wife Colleen of Lebanon;; one daughter, Julie Leck and her husband Steve of Lebanon; 11 grandchildren, Gina Wynns and her husband Cory, Todd Capps and his wife Heather, Mindi Capps and Brad Richardson, Bo Dyal and his wife Kristal, Curt Moore and his wife Emily, Cole Moore and his wife Rachel, Cassie Land and her husband Jeremy, Steve Leck, Thomas Leck and Dillon Leck and Christopher Tucker; great grandchildren, Kaleigh, Kenzie, Kiersten, Korie and Kaisley Wynns, Tyler and Lindsay Capps; Breelyn, Clay, Cade, Bryton, Joleen, Brynlee, Brixlee, Jaclyn and Jenessa Moore and Liam Batson; one great-great-grandchild, Tate Capps; three sisters, Cathy McGough, Linda Dobbs and Debbie Lee, all of the state of Illinois; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Funeral services for Shirley Ann Dyal will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastor Allen Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2 at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
