Sharon Lyda, 72, of Lebanon, was born Sept. 21, 1953, in Hendersonville, N.C. to Lawrence Lyda and Virginia “Jenny’’ Waugh and died Friday, Jan. 23, 2026, in University Hospital in Columbia.
She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Hester and her husband Jeff of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; two grandchildren; and two brothers, Steve Lyda and his wife Connie of Hendersonville, N.C. and Randall Lyda of Houston.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery.
