Share Your Christmas United opened its sponsorship period to the public on Tuesday to help community members celebrate the holidays. The organization is located at 850 East Highway 32 and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
“Their needs are easy,” said coordinator Jean Ellen Tapp, referring to the simplicity of applicants’ requests: warm blankets, clothes, and not-often purchased treats and toys.
Share Your Christmas provides children, teenagers and senior citizens with gifts during the holiday season. Applicants are selected following an interview process held earlier in the year. Sponsorships are now available from December 2 to December 16.
