SFC (Ret) Steven Carl “Steve’’ Sanborn, 64, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, in his home.
He is survived by his wife Rhonda Sanborn of the home; five children, Steven Sanborn Jr.; Jay Sandifer of Lebanon; Jamie Sanborn (Anjie) of Lufkin, Texas; Brent Simmonds of St. Louis, and Lilly Sanborn of Lebanon; eight grandchildren, Robert, Becky, Scott, John, Taylor, Michaela, Alexander, and Gabriel; one brother, John Sanborn (Karen) of Enfield, N.H.; one sister, Betty Sanborn of Ocala, Fla.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial with military honors will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville. Visitation will be held from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
