SFC (Ret) John Joseph Vaughan, 71, of Dixon, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, in the Phelps Health Hospital of Rolla.
He is survived by his wife Suzanne Vaughan of the home; two daughters, Melissa Hutton (Rick) of Rolla, and Melinda Snelling (Chris) of Wentzville; four grandchildren, Alayna Snelling, Lauryn Snelling, Madison Hutton, and Blake Hutton; mother-in-law, Columbia St. Louis of Montreal, Canada; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, in the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Robert with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Private burial with military honors will be held in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
