SFC (Ret) George Clayton Nettestad, 94, of Devils Elbow, died Sunday, May 22, 2022, in his home.
He is survived by two children, Patty Keeling (Mike) of Devils Elbow, and Brian Brown (Lisa) of Devils Elbow; five grandchildren, Kasie Lercher (Brock) of Richland; Cody Keeling (Jennifer) of Columbia; Allison Sylvester (Ryan) of Devils Elbow; Jean Thompson (Lindsay) of Devils Elbow, and Cassie Jones (Clinton) of Ashland; five great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Sadie, River, Ellie, and Gwen; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Graveside services with full military honors for SFC (Ret) George Clayton Nettestad will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022, in the Resurrection Cemetery of St. Robert, under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
