SFC (Ret) Arthur Spruill, 78, of St. Robert, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, in the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
He is survived by his wife Kyong Won Spruill of St. Robert; children, J-Pia Spruill (Jesse) of Springfield, and Arthur Jonah Spruill “AJ” of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Naomi Robinson and Elijah Robinson, both of Springfield; three brothers, Steve Spruill of Clarksville, Tenn.; Thomas Spruill (Margaret) of Greensboro, N.C. and Jerry Spruill of Morrisville, Pa.; four sisters: Beulah Lassiter of Trenton, N.J.; Mattie Peele (William) of East Orange, N.J.; Bernadine Thornton of Trenton, of New Jersey and Elaine Taylor of Salem, N.J.; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, in the Westside Baptist Church of Waynesville. Burial with military honors will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville, under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at noon Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, in the Westside Baptist Church of Waynesville.
