Senior centers closed

Aging Best (formerly Central Missouri Area Agency on Aging) has suspended the congregate meal program and activities at all Aging Best partner senior centers out of concern for the health of the seniors they serve. This decision follows the CDC recommendations on the COVID-19 virus to avoid large gatherings, especially with our most vulnerable population. The suspension began March 16 and will continue through March 30, at which time they will re-evaluate reinstating regular programming. Senior centers in Laclede County closed are Hughes Center in Lebanon, Conway Senior Center and Stoutland Senior Center. These senior centers will be offering curbside meals and expanded home delivered meals to those in need. For assistance with meals, access to food or transportation, caregiver support, or a list of available resources for other aging related needs, call Aging Best at 1-800-369-5211.
