SAVANNA ELIZABETH SHIELDS

Savanna Elizabeth Shields, 31, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, in her home.

She was born July 13, 1991, in Columbia, Mo. to David and Shari Lewis Harvey.

On June 26, 2010, she was united in marriage to Cody S. Shields, and to this union one daughter and two sons were born.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Tom and Ruby Lewis; and her paternal grandmother, Darlene Harvey.

Savanna was raised in the Lebanon area and attended Joel E. Barber School before graduating from high school. She began studying at Ozark Technical School and completed her Bachelor and Master Degrees at Evangel University and Missouri State University. She loved going to school and was working on her doctorate degree. She enjoyed her work at O.T.C. where she loved helping students reach their potential. She was an avid reader and liked cooking and baking. She enjoyed making delicious meals for her family. Fall was her favorite season and she always kept a positive attitude.

She had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 12 years, Cody, of the home; a daughter, Allison Shields of the home; two sons, Raylan Shields and Atticus Shields, both of the home; her parents, David and Shari Harvey of Lebanon; her twin sister, Shelena Talley and her husband Travis of Lebanon; her paternal grandfather, Gerald Harvey Sr. of Lebanon; two aunts, Debbie Balman and her husband John and their son, John Caleb, Tammy Leppin and her husband Steve and their children, Miranda and Derek; an uncle, Gerald Harvey Jr. and his wife Sandy; a niece, Mia; a nephew, Silas; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Savanna Elizabeth Shields will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park in Lebanon, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.

Visitation will be from 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Holman-Howe Funeral Home.

A memorial has been established for her Children’s Education Fund and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
