Ruby Jane Buttram, 86, of Washington, Mo., died Wednesday morning, Feb. 17, 2021, in Cedar Crest Manor in Washington, Mo.
She was born Feb. 6, 1935, in Wright County, Mo. to Gerson and Verby (Lowery) Climer, who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her a grandson, Bob; two brothers, Jason and Johnny Climer, and two sisters, Gladys Weaver and Dessie Edwards.
Ruby lived almost of her life in Wright County in Hartville and Grovespring. She worked for the post office, ASC office and cleaned homes. Ruby had attended Little Vine Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Waldo Buttram of Mountain Grove; Wallace and Chester Buttram and his wife Dixie, all of Hartville; seven grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Ruby Jane Buttram were held Monday, Feb. 22, 2021, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Hartville. Burial was in Little Vine Cemetery, northwest of Grovespring.
