Roy Lee McDaris, 79, of Hartville, was born Dec. 31, 1946, in Twin Falls, Idaho to Arque “Pete’’ and Violet “Marie’’ (Stigall) McDaris and died Monday, May 4, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife Nancy; a son, Wesley McDaris and his wife Holly; a daughter, Wendy Williamson; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a brother, Russell McDaris and his wife Wilma; two sisters, Nancy Brashears and her husband Dan, and Reba Thurman and her husband Danny.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2026, at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove. Burial will be in Coldwater Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Green Valley Baptist Church or Coon Creek Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
