Chief Master Sargent Roy Clifton Phillips Jr., Ret., 82, of Marshfield, was born July 22, 1943, in Lauderdale County, Ala. to Roy Clifton Phillips Sr. and Hazel (Putnam) Phillips and died Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife Judith (McGoon) Phillips of the home; a son, Cliff Phillips and his wife Pam of Council Bluffs, Iowa; one granddaughter; a sister, Joyce Lamar of Huntsville, Ala.; two brothers, Ron Phillips of Richland, Wash. and Carroll Phillips and his wife Amy of Richland, Wash.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. in Marshfield. Burial will be in Marshfield Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
A memorial has been established to Webster County Veterans Memorial Team and left in care of the funeral home.
