MSgt. (Ret) Ronald James Daugherty, 64, of Brumley, died Monday, June 26, 2023, at his home.
He is survived by his wife Renate Lawhead of Seminole, Fla.; three daughters, Amanda Lawhead-Bonglorno, Renate Lilly, and Megan Lawhead, all of Seminole, Fla.; four granddaughters, Kalysta, Makenna, Lillia, and Braven; his mother, Ingrid Daughtery (Dana Darling) of Brumley; sisters and brothers, Patricia Daugherty-Struemph (James) of St. Elizabeth; Jacqueline Daugherty of Richland; Dwyne Daugherty (Julie) of Richland; Sandria Daugherty-Rogers (Ron) of Brumley; Rebecca Daugherty-Ward (Derek) of Columbia; Carmen Sue Daugherty (Kevin Harris) of Richland, and Leonard Daugherty III (Kristy) of Brumley; several nieces, nephews; as well as a host of other relatives, colleagues, and many friends.
Funeral Mass will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 2023, in the St. Jude Catholic Church of Richland. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery of Richland.
Because of Ron’s love of reading and expanding a person’s mind, in lieu of flowers, the Daugherty family has requested for memorial contributions to be made to the Pulaski County Library District in memory of MSgt. (Ret) Ronald James Daugherty and may be left at the funeral home.
