RONALD DEAN “RONNIE’’ BLACKBURN

Ronald Dean “Ronnie’’ Blackburn, 65, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, in Lebanon.

He was born March 2, 1956, in Lebanon, Mo. to Jack and Louise Green Blackburn.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mae Miller; one brother, Johnny Blackburn.

He was a mechanic for the majority of his life. He worked for John Deere, Lebanon Farm Equipment, Detroit Tool, MFA and most recently, Tractor Supply. He enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and hunting. However, the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, is what he treasured most.

Survivors include his significant other, Debra “Debbie” Herd; three sons, Ronald Douglas Blackburn, Jeffery Herd and his wife Beth and Joshua Blackburn and his wife Shy; eight grandchildren, Rylee, Lane, Kaylee, Teresa, Tequila, Kaitlen, Jacklyn and Haysley; siblings, Randy Blackburn, Donnie Blackburn and his wife Terry, Rosie Eady, Donna Fuerstenberg and her husband Dennis and Judy Massey and her husband Don; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends,

Funeral services for Ronald Dean “Ronnie’’ Blackburn will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Paul Posey officiating.

Burial will be in Bear Thicket Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family of Ronald Blackburn to help with funeral expenses. Donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
