Robert Wayne Taylor, 56, of Lebanon died Thursday, June 15, 2023, in Springfield.
He was born April 14, 1967 in Hemet, Calif. to Leroy Taylor and Patty Barker Lambertson.
On June 2, 2018, he was united in marriage to Megan May.
Those preceding him in death include his stepfather, who raised him, Bruce Lambertson; his grandparents, Junior and Irene Barker; and his biological father, Leroy Taylor.
Robert worked a variety of jobs over the years. Most recently, he was employed with Independent Stave Company as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed remodeling and could fix anything. He was an amazing cook and enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing. Time spent with his family is what he treasured most.
He is survived by his wife, Megan; children, Amanda Taylor, Branden Taylor, Destiny May, Summer Taylor and Kaleb Massey, all of Lebanon; his mother, Patty Lambertson of Lebanon; one brother, Brian Taylor and his wife Christine of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Kylie, Natalee, Keaton, Keyleigh and Michael; other relatives and many friends.
A graveside service and burial for Robert Wayne Taylor will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Eureka Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
