Robert Owen White Sr., 68, of Eldridge, died Thursday, April 29, 2021, in Eldridge.
He was born Jan. 29, 1953, in Elwood, Ind. to Carol and Barbara Laws White.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Melva White; his sisters, Sharon Brandon and Karen Ballentine; and his brother, Steven White.
He married Linda Faye Brandon.
Robert attended school in California. He served in the United States Army and after his discharge, was a truck driver for many years for various companies. He was employed with Conners Express for a period of time before retiring. Robert loved music, playing the guitar, and his Harley Davidson motorcycle. However, he mostly enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his wife Linda; his son, Robert Owen White Jr., and his wife Cindy of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Tia Jones and her fiance’ Michael Juergensen, Jakob and Bryan White; four great-grandchildren, Lane White, August, Ezekiel and Bentley Juergensen; other relatives and friends.
Memorial services for Robert Owen White Sr. will be held at a later date under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
