Robert “Bob’’ Leroy Smith, 82, of Marshfield, was born Jan. 14, 1941, in Rockport, Iowa, to Leonard and Lois Smith, and died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023, at Marshfield Care Center. He is survived by his wife Ann of the home; two daughters, Denise Young and Carla Kays and husband Brad; two stepchildren, Brian Nimmo and wife Stephanie, and Patricia Payne and husband Dennis; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Smith and wife Welona, and Steve Smith. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at Day Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial will be in Marshfield Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s and left at the funeral home.
