Richard “Rick’’ Earl Thomas, 69, of Richland, died Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024, in his home surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife Lillian Thomas of the home; two sons, Brian Thomas (Ashley) of Richland, and Jason Thomas (Crystal) of St. Clair; five grandchildren, Jaden Thomas, Alyssa Thomas, and Jace Thomas, all of Richland, and Easton Thomas and Tristan Thomas, both of St. Clair; one sister, Patty Fears of St. Louis; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Don Miller (Karen) of Warrenton, Marilyn and Tommy Morrison of Lebanon, Raymond Miller (B.J.) of Marrietta, Ga., Jeannie Ashline of Richland, and David Miller (Vickie) of Richland; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in the Memorial Chapel of Richland. Burial with military honors followed in the Centerpoint Cemetery near Richland. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2024, in the Memorial Chapel of Richland. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Rick Thomas and may be left at Memorial Chapel of Richland.
