Richard Jerry Barker, 86, of Mountain Grove, was born Feb. 8, 1939, in Mountain Grove to Ernest James and Hazel (Brumley) Barker and died Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, at his home.
He is survived by his wife Wanda Barker; a son, Jerry Barker (Rita) of Mountain Grove; daughters, Terri Proctor (David) of Mountain View, Sheila McCormick of Henderson, Ky. and Candy Haddock of Mountain Grove; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, at Lone Star Cemetery near Mountain Grove, under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mountain Grove. Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
