Richard Dale Calton Sr., 79, of Hartville, was born Feb. 11, 1947, in Hartville to Robert and Mamie (Moore) Calton and died Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife Judy of the home; two sons, Richard D. Calton Jr. and his wife Denise of Mansfield, and Mike Lansdown and his wife Becky of Hartville; three daughters, Nicole Calton of Hartville, Tashina Calton and her boyfriend Ryan of Hartville, and Syrena Turley and her husband Rick of Hartville; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jimmy Calton and his wife Penny of Mesa, Ariz., Jerry Calton and his wife Sally of Camino Island, Wash., and Robert “Sonny’’ Calton of Hartville; four sisters, Barbara Blackman and her husband Tony of Federal Way, Wash., Donna Steeley and her husband Tony of Nixa, Patty Whitney and her husband Marty of Federal Way, Wash., and Diane Radford of Orting, Wash
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Moore Cemetery near Hartville under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mansfield.
