RiCHARD ALLEN OVERBAY

Richard Allen Overbay, Jr., 53 of Lebanon, left this earth Friday, April 7, 2023 at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. He was born May 31, 1969 to Richard Overbay, Sr. and Ruth Delmar.

He was raised as a military kid and lived several years in Colorado. He has spent the last 30 years in Missouri.

Richard took pride in being a good mechanic. He liked working on cars and trucks and helping out his family and friends with mechanical issues.

Richard attended Community Baptist Church. He always had a joke to tell and was also set in his ways. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the races. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. They were the light in his life and he loved seeing them grow and play.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Beverly Tubbs.

Richard is survived by his children; Richard “Ricky” Overbay and his fiance’ Victoria Amen, Ryan Overbay, Madison Overbay, Elsie Overbay and Kayden Overbay, all of Lebanon; his brothers and sisters, Melissa Overbay of Lebanon; Cindy Duncan and Crystal Crispin of Falcon; Jason Adams and Amy of Brownwood, Texas and John Adams and Kelly of Eldridge; four grandchildren, Seraphina, Ryker, Ryland and Violet Overbay; and his step-mom, Linda Overbay of Lebanon.

Richard was a loving family man. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories he made with them during his lifetime.

A memorial service was held at 6 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. Visitation was 5 p.m. until service time at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. A memorial has been established and donations may be made through the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
