Rev. Edwin Thomas Carter, 93, of Mountain Grove, was born Sept. 12, 1932, to Ernest and Zelphia (Edwards) Carter and died Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
He is survived by his wife Cleta June; a daughter, Rebecca Jane Carter of Sedalia; a sister, Janice Easterwood and her husband Gene of Nixa, and two sisters-in-law, Greta Carter of Lee’s Summit and Ladenia Carter of Mountain Grove.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m.
