RENA LOU DILLON

Rena Lou Dillon, 88, of Lebanon, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, at Table Rock Health Care Center in Kimberling City.

She was born Dec. 19, 1931, in Atchison, Kan. to Homer T. and Cecilia Masingill McCoole.

On June 13, 1950, she married Robert William Dillon Sr., and to this union three daughters and one son were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her eldest daughter, Rebecca Louise Dillon, who died at birth.

Rena was born in Atchison, Kan. She graduated from Atchison High School, where she was active in sports and was a cheerleader. She and Robert made their home in Cliff Springs, Mo. and operated the Cliff Springs Episcopal Camp and Conference Center for a number of years. Rena then worked as the activity director at Lebanon Care Center for several years. After retiring, she enjoyed her grandchildren.

She was a longtime, active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Lebanon.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Harms and Kelli Dillon-LeDue and her husband Rhett, all of Kimberling City; her son, Robert Dillon of Scottsbluff Neb.; a sister, Bobbie Sue O’Malley of St. Joseph and a brother, Homer T. McCoole and his wife Dora of Atchison, Kan., and five grandchildren, Connor, Dillon, Shane, Jeremy and Cecilia.

Memorial services for Rena Lou Dillon will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. A memorial has been established to Alzheimer’s Foundation or Heart & Home for Children. Donations may be left at Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
