Rebecca “Becky” Grace (Newman) O’Riley, 67, of Waynesville, Mo., a retired employee of the Waynesville R-VI School District, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, in her home following a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer.

Becky is survived by her husband: Butch O’Riley of the home; five children: Jacob Vaughan (Michelle) of Richland, Mo., Christopher Vaughan of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jordan Walters (Chris) of Richland, Mo., Justin O’Riley (Dawn) of Ashland, Mo. and Josh O’Riley (Melissa) of Richland, Mo.; ten grandchildren: Kennedy, Cooper, Haidyn, Brailynn, Elise, Kailea, Tone, Greyson, Hazel, and Brooklyn; one brother: Bobby Newman (Teri) of Spartanburg, S.C.; two sisters: Angel Dixon of Inman, S.C. and Rhonda Bryant of Inman, S.C.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2026, in the Waypoint Church of Waynesville, Mo. There is no visitation scheduled at the request of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Becky O’Riley to the Becky O’Riley Memorial Scholarship Fund to benefit students attending the Nursing Program at Waynesville Career Center. These contributions may be left at Waypoint Church the day of the service or at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
