Ward 3 Councilman Josh Ray, says some of his council colleagues may one day apologize for their role in his exit as mayor three years ago.
Ray made the comments at Monday night’s City Council meeting, reacting to news that Lebanon’s former city administrator, Chris Heard, has been charged with child abuse in Texas.
Ray began his remarks by saying he was pleased with the current direction of the city.
“I feel like Council’s moving in a really positive direction and we have a great city staff,” he said.
He then referred to Heard’s legal troubles in Texas, which include charges he assaulted his girlfriend’s daughter, and said he would continue to work with his fellow council members.
