Rain fails to stop Twinkle Light parade

While for a moment there were concerns about Saturday’s storms raining on Stoutland’s Twinkle Light Parade, Christmas lights and cheer prevailed. The small town’s first iteration of the event had opportunities for children to visit with Santa, buy from a food truck and watch the parade during the sunset. The rain that blew in about half an hour before the parade was set to begin incited paradegoers to take shelter in City Hall, in their vehicles, or at the lineup.
