Rafael Gonzales Del Rio age eighty-one of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024. He was born June 29, 1942, in San Diego, California to Luis A. Del Rio and Pilar G. Del Rio.
Rafael did masonry work the majority of his life. He loved to play chess, poker and gamble. He spent time listening to music or mowing the yard. He loved all his family and every woman that was a part of his life.
Rafael is survived by his wife Delores Del Rio; seven children, Lisa Ruiz, Rafael Del Rio, Luis Del Rio, Joann Del Rio, John Hice, Theresa Tamayo and Jenny Del Rio-Young; his twelve grandchildren, Jessica Chevalier, Tiffany Chevalier, Ashley Chevalier, Sofia Del Rio, Jonathan Hice, Nicole Hice, Nathan Hice, Michael Hice, Justine Del Rio-Tamayo, Julia Tamayo, Jasmine Tamayo and Manuel Del Rio Vasquez; three great-grandchildren, Juliette Kelley, Jordan Hice, Zayden Del Rio-Chevalier; two sisters, Irene Don and Virginia Del Rio; two brothers, Luis Del Rio and Ruben Del Rio; along with the rest of his family that he deeply loved.
Those preceding him in death include his parents, Luis A. Del Rio and Pilar (Gonzales) Del Rio; one sister, Gloria Arellano; one grandson, Damien Christian Del Rio-Chevalier.
Rafael will be greatly missed and remembered by everyone who had the great pleasure of meeting him.
