Raegan McCowan breaks LHS home run record

In the fifth inning, junior Raegan McCowan dug into the batter's box. A few pitches later, she would break the record for home run’s in a single season as she blasted her 10th home run over the left field fence to give LHS a 7-0 lead over the Cassville Wildcats. Lebanon got things started on an RBI single from Taylor Rodden in the first inning and got dominant pitching from sophomore Kamryn Luthy. She went all seven innings, allowed just five hits, and struck out four hitters in the circle to pick up the win. During the seventh inning, the ‘Jackets exploded for four runs to put the game out of reach. McCowan had a single to left field, plating two runs to extend the lead to 9-1, Makayla Dawson recorded an RBI single, and Gracie Waterman drove in a run to cap the scoring at 11-1.
