A crowd estimated at more than 2,000 enjoyed drag racing at Monday night’s Laclede County Fair.
Fair manager Baleigh Bilger said there were more than 200 entries.
“We had a great turnout for the $2 race,” she said. She added that the fair organizers definitely plan to have this race event again in the future.
The winners were Steven Bowman, 1st place in the Bracket Division and Kade Witt, 2nd place in the Bracket.
