R-3 changes back-to-school plan

All students now required to wear masks, and high school students will have hybrid classes - a mix of two days in-person

Lebanon R-3 school students will now be required to wear face coverings and high school will consist of hybrid learning when school begins Aug. 24. Lebanon High School and Lebanon Technology and Career Center students will be in Level 2: Hybrid Learning, a combination of two days of in-person learning and virtual learning on three days. According to a statement from the school district, the change was made because of updated guidance from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. “We received new guidance from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education this week, which now recommends that students in grades K-12 wear face coverings,” the district said in the statement. The Lebanon School District said the latest data for COVID-19 case trends in the community and COVID-19 cases in Laclede County are currently trending upward, according to the Laclede County Health Department.
