R-3 announces new grading criteria

The Lebanon R-3 School District has announced some changes related to the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on schools. School buildings are closed to students, but learning is continuing over the internet. According to a school district announcement, Internet accessibility in the form of student hotspots and public WiFi access locations will be provided by the school district to any family that does not have internet access. At a minimum, all students are expected to engage and communicate with their teachers on a weekly basis. Students are expected to engage in coursework by communicating with their teachers and completing assignments. For more on this story see Wednesday's LCR.
