Lebanon Mayor Jared Carr says the purchase of the former GreatLife Golf Course is an opportunity for the city.
But the decision, made at Monday’s City Council meeting, was not unanimous. Two City Council members, Ward 1 Council member Gib Adkins and Ward 2 Council member Sheila Mithcell, voted “no,” and questions about the action have come up on social media. The Record spoke with Carr Thursday to get answers to some of those questions.
Carr was excited for the opportunity the course provided.
