The Lebanon City Council’s recent purchase of the Lebanon Area Community Golf Course generated some discussion at Wednesday’s Park Board meeting.
Lebanon City Administrator Troy Schulte was asked about plans for the facility and if the park board would be involved.
Schulte told the board that he believes the course, which he said is now breaking even, can be successfully operated.
“We think with a little tighter management, a little infusion of some money that could probably be paid back by future revenues of the project, we could turn that around fairly quickly,” he said.
