An all-day program for area high-schoolers Tuesday in Phillipsburg aimed to ensure the future of American agriculture, according to organizers.
Young people from area high schools got a close-up look at livestock as Mid-Missouri Bank hosted the Mid-Missouri Ag Education Initiative at the Mid-Missouri Stockyards in Phillipsburg.
A total of 210 junior and senior high school students and a few eighth grade students from Lebanon, Marshfield, Skyline, Conway, Stoutland and Joel E. Barber along with University of Missouri Extension and home school students attended the full-day event.
