Preview: Drug Take Back Day is Saturday

Posted

A Drug Take Back Day will be held Saturday at the Lebanon Police Department.

From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. the Lebanon Police Department, Laclede County Drug Council and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

People can bring their pills for disposal to the Lebanon Police Department parking lot at 401 South Jefferson Ave. Sites cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps, only pills or patches. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked, according to a press release from the Laclede County Drug Council.
