The Laclede County Commission took aim at streamlining the renewal process for senior tax credit approval during its Tuesday morning meeting.
The County Commission agreed to utilize a change or no change signature form for previously approved senior tax freeze applicants that would open as tax statement season begins.
The discussion arose because of research Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst and Laclede County Clerk Linda Cansler had done on Greene County’s senior tax freeze process.
