After over 20 years in the community, Conway Memorial Library continues to be a local gathering place.
Librarian Ann Cunningham says the “memorial” in Conway Memorial Library refers to the memories of many people: her daughter, Bridget Cunningham, benefactor Ralph Miller, others who have donated to the library, and the community at large.
In the library’s current location at 327 Jefferson Ave in Conway, the Record recently sat with Cunningham, two of the library’s board members – the library’s website notes it is a nonprofit – and a newer patron to listen to the library’s story.
“We’ve had lots of good memories, lots of good times,” said librarian Ann Cunningham.
