Lebanon may not see a white Christmas this year, but when snow does arrive, the street department says it will be ready.
The current forecast calls for warmer than normal weather on Christmas, but winter is far from over. Brad Boyer, street department superintendent, said that the city begins preparations for the cold season in the late summer including stocking up on road salt when it is less expensive.
“We go through our equipment and make sure everything is working correctly,” he said.
