For the second year, local entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to make their business dreams come true through Danny and April True’s The 229 Project.
Applications for this year’s 229 Project began Monday morning, and Danny True said the project had already received five applicants by around 10 a.m.
The nonprofit aims to support a new or existing business through an application process and provide a home for it – this year’s address is 206 W. Commercial Street.
“We had some other options, things we could do with it, but it just felt right to do another 229 Project,” April True said.
