Police parking improvements, rezoning on latest City Council agenda

uncil has approved an agreement that will lead to a car canopy for the city’s Police Department. At Monday night’s meeting, the Council approved an agreement with BuildTec Construction to design, engineer, manufacture and install the canopy at a cost of $172,000. According to the city, the Police Department fleet vehicles when not in use are parked in the rear parking lot exposed to the elements. For more on this story see the LCR.
