Phyllis Ann Neilsen, 78, of Cabool, was born Aug. 2, 1947, in Lebanon to Barney L. and Edith Johnson Walters and died Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, in her home.
She is survived by her husband Soren Neilsen of the home; one son, James Christopher Tyre and his wife Tammy of Waynesville; two sisters, Jenny Intres and her husband Chuck of Falcon and Mary Hicks and her husband Bill of Lebanon; five brothers, Lonnie Walters and his wife Beverly of Michigan, Jerry Walters and his wife Debbie of Nixa, Doug Walters and his wife Sherry and Edward Walters and his wife Star, all of Lebanon, and Jacob Walters and his wife Jennifer of Falcon; a sister-in-law, Judy Walters of Hebron, Neb.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. Burial was in Monarch Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to the service.
A memorial to Monarch Cemetery has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
