Phase 2 of Missouri’s COVID-19 vaccination plan began Monday and the shots should be available to everyone as of April 9. The current phase includes Missourians who are essential to equitable economic recovery, including those employed in construction, critical manufacturing, higher education, and remaining food and agriculture sectors. This also includes homeless and disproportionately affected populations. Laclede County Health Department Administrator Charla Baker said this will affect many local people. “Many of those eligible are manufacturing employees, Lebanon is full of these so it’s a very good thing that these employees will be eligible,” she said.
