The 26th Judicial Court has scheduled Michelle Yevonne Peters’s arraignment for Jan. 6 at 9 a.m.
Peters was charged in June with eight counts of first-degree assault and eight counts of armed criminal action, allegedly covertly putting an herbicide in her husband’s soda on several occasions during May and June.
According to Peters’s case file on Case.net, the court found in a disposition hearing that there was probable cause to believe the 16 felony counts had been committed and has denied any change in bond. The court sees the current no bond conditions as the “least restrictive to secure appearance and safety of the community or other persons.”
