Paul Wayne Anthony of Lebanon, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023, in Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Paul was born Nov. 12, 1939, in Lebanon, to Leo Anthony and Nora Lee Massey. He was raised near Cobb’s Creek and was a member of the 1957 Lebanon High School graduating class.

Paul married the love of his life, Karin Watson Anthony. They were blessed with three sons, Brian and Jeff and Steven.

Paul worked for Coca Cola, H.D. Lee and Foremost Dairy. He was a route driver most of his career. He worked for Laclede Electric for twenty years as a dispatcher and retired from this position.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Karin in 2014; a son, Steven Anthony; and his parents.

He is survived by his two sons, Brian Anthony and his wife, Robin and Jeff Anthony and his finance, Melinda Goodwin, all of Lebanon; seven grandchildren, Sean Anthony, Alec Anthony, Chase Anthony, Reid Anthony, Grayson Anthony, Parker Anthony and Creed Beard, all of Lebanon; four great-grandchildren; and two nieces, Kathie Wehner and Susan Saling.

Paul was a real homebody and was a big storyteller. He had a story for everything and would entertain friends and family with his mostly truthful stories. He also enjoyed fishing, bowling and camping. He loved being outside in the Missouri Ozarks.

Paul was a wonderful man and looked forward to the times he could be with his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him happiness and he would spend time with them as often as possible. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

All services will be private.
