Paul Arthur Brotherton, 82, of Nixa, was born Aug. 24, 1941, in Waynesville to Louis Edward and Fannie Marie Walters Brotherton and died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2024, in Springfield. He is survived by his wife Millie; children, Paul Arthur Brotherton Jr. and his wife Leslie of Oxford, Bryan Edward Brotherton and his wife Jenny of Springfield, and Dee Anna Klein and her husband Jeff of Camdenton; three step-grandchildren, Sandra Kay Howlett of Moline, Ill., Mark C. Howlett and David T. Howlett, both of Richland; one sister, Edna June Adamson of Crocker; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Lowery and her husband Carl of Osage Beach; a brother-in-law, J.M. Wallis and his wife Geneva of Richland. There will be a memorial service at a later date. At his request, his body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
