Patsy Marie (Weddle) Brawley, daughter of Ted and Opal (Satterfield) Weddle was born on March 30, 1942 in their home in Lebanon, Missouri and departed this life to enter her heavenly home on May 14, 2026, in Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of 84 years.
Pat, as she was known by family and friends, was the eldest of seven children to whom she helped raise. She made a profession of faith in Christ when she was young and was baptized at Bennett Spring. The family attended First Assembly of God church in Lebanon, Missouri. Gospel music was a favorite pasttime in their home and from that The Weddle Family Singers were formed. Pat attended and graduated from Lebanon high school in 1960. She held several jobs in Lebanon including Second Street Cleaners, Empire Gas, waitressed at Madison Street Grill, and also waited on customers at a place called, Connor Drug Store, where she met the love of her life, Ralph.
Pat was united in marriage with Ralph Lester Brawley on September 19, 1964 and to this union two children were born, Jeff and Lori.
Pat taught Sunday School at Lebanon First Assembly of God with her mom, Opal, for over forty years. She served a couple of years as president of the women’s ministry known as WM’s. She also worked in the church’s food pantry ministry, which was called, The Love Room, with Darline Musgrave, her best friend of 45 years.
Pat’s hobbies were spending time with and loving her family, going to church and serving others, sewing beautiful dresses for her granddaughters and nieces, creating special blankets for all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, baking, reading, coloring bright pictures, and studying her Bible.
In the kitchen, Pat was most famous for her homemade blackberry cobbler and cracker meat, her egg noodles and cherry pies at family events, and her monkey bread at Christmastime. She was also a devoted and mighty prayer warrior for her family, friends, and anyone in need. Pat loved to intercede in prayer, knowing her prayers would carry on even after she left this life on earth.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Opal Weddle, her brothers, Michael “Mike” and Ted “Teddy”, and her beloved grandson, Robert “Joel” Cruz.
She is survived by her husband Ralph, son Jeff and wife Sheila Brawley of Roach, Missouri; daughter Lori and husband Andy Cruz of Lebanon, Missouri; six grandchildren Tiffany and husband Joell Calton of Lebanon, Missouri; Dylon and wife Ashlynn Brawley of Roach, Missouri; Santana and husband Colton Emmons of Niangua, Missouri; McKenna Cruz of Lebanon, Missouri; and Cheyenne and hus band Nate Bell of Roach, Missouri; nine great-grandchildren Gracie, Easton, Bentleigh, Kamden, Oakleigh, Jaxton, Kohen, Bexleigh and Kaysen, as well as her bonus girls Jaime and Paralee (Cruz) Coe.
Sister-in-law Janet Weddle, sister Elizabeth “Ann” Helms, brother Ronnie Weddle, sister-in-law Marolyn Ellerbrook, sister Sherry and husband Kevin Boggs, and sister Cammie and husband Clifton Boggs. Along with many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved dearly.
In Ralph and Pat’s most recent years together, you could find them still heavily involved in LFA as much as they could be, spending time with their family, loving on and delighting in their great-grandchildren, proudly supporting Encounter Ministry at The Cove while enjoying their home-away-from-home cabin, sitting outside on their porch at the farm together, praising the Lord with The Gaither Vocal Band playing gospel music on their tv 24/7, doing devotions together in their recliners while sipping hot coffee, and never missing the opportunity to pray together before bedtime. They shared 61.5 beautiful years of marriage and life together while serving the Lord. What an amazing legacy they have created together.
Pat will be incredibly missed by her family, friends, and anyone who had the privilege of knowing her!
The family wanted to share that a memorial service in honor of Pat will be held at a later date.
